Hi Angela,
Thank you for your question. I want to make sure you can access the forums - when you click on any of the forum topics with your level of access you should be able to read and see the content of the other discussion forums. If you can't and you get an error message than we need to know so we can double check your account access level for you.
But if you do see and have access then let me see if I can walk you through the posting steps ... I'll use the family parenting forum for the example and you should be able to see my two new posts there:
- click on "Family and Parenting Wellness" (replace with the appropriate forum you would like to post in)
- if there is a topic you would like to reply to or ask an alternate question to then click on the appropriate discussion title ... OR ... if you would like to ask a new question then at the top right corner of the forum click on the button titled "New Topic"
- if you are replying and you clicked one of the current discussions then you will see open discussion posts. Click on the "REPLY" button on the bottom left corner of the post you wish to reply to. .... OR ... if you are asking a new question then when you clicked the "New Topic" option you will be taken to a screen which asks you to fill in the title of your post, body etc similar to what you did for this one.
I hope this is helpful for you. I'll look for your postings later today.
Thank you for being a part of our community. Have a beautiful day!
Thanks for the quick response! I can read and reply with no problem, but am unable to start a new topic. The top right corner of the forums, above the "Mark All Read" button says "You are not allowed to post new content in the forum."
I did try logging out and logging back in to see if that changed anything, but it didn't work.
Thanks for your help!
Angela
Hi Angela,
After taking a look via an alternate membership level I realize that members do not have the capability of starting new discussions. I am having a meeting with our web development company this afternoon and I will request that they add this capability in.
Thanks for letting us know. When this is available I will let you know.
Have a great day.
Namaste,
Karen
Hi,
I was just trying to read the postings in the Family and Parenting forum and when I clicked on the discussion I was sent back to the main home page? How can I access this content or is there a technical issue?
Thanks!
Hi Emili,
That is a great question. Other than this main welcome general discussion forum all the other forums are considered part of the 'premium content' and a benefit to our Online Community Members. So, there isn't a technical issue. You will be able to access these forums, not only read but post questions to our expert panel members for support once you join our online community by either enrolling as an online member, enroll in a coaching program or online course through TLC.
Please let me know if there is any other questions you may have and if I have answered your question completely or not.
Wishing you a beautiful day.

Hi there,
I have a question I would like to pose in one of the forums, but I can't sort out how to do so, even with my full membership. Can you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Angela
