Perfect Moment Monday: Mother's Day Flowers

Each week I participate in Perfect Moment Monday sponsored by the blog Weebles Wobblog. According to this blog, Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between. And so, here is a Perfect Moment for this week.

I know Mother's Day was a couple of weeks ago, but it's still not too late to recognize it as a Perfect Moment!

We were out of town for Ryan's first lacrosse tournament. He had practiced three days prior and then played in all four games. It was great to watch! His team won all four games and won the tournament! What a great way to start his lacrosse career!

During the same weekend Ryan's twin, Bryce, was playing with a competitive baseball team in yet another town five hours from where we live. My sister, her husband and her son were able to travel to see Bryce play that weekend and texted me play-by-play updates. Although his team didn't win the tournament, it was a great experience for Bryce, who had a couple of great hits and caught a pop fly in left field.

Sunday morning (Mother's Day) when we woke up, my sweet hubby went on an "errand" and brought back these beautiful flowers.

That weekend was a series of Perfect Moments, including being out of town with my family, celebrating Mother's Day with flowers, and watching my kids participate and excel in their chosen sports.

Perfect!!
