Finding Grace

This morning as I read today's reading from the Daily Word, I was touched not only by the main theme of the reading, "grace," but by the message contained within.

Today's quote at the top of the page was "I am one with the limitless grace of God." Within the text it supported this thought with the following quote:

"God's grace is constant and true, providing all I could ever ask for, and more. Grace is at work within me and around me. It is the light that illumines my path, the wisdom that guides my thoughts and actions, and the power that fills me with strength and peace." ~ (3/29/10)

The quote from the Bible for the day was, "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 1:2)

Fifteen years ago when we started our family, I thought the name "Grace" was such a beautiful name. But alas, I had three sons (and didn't name any of them "Grace.")

If I ever write a book and want to use a pen name, I plan to use the name "Grace." To me it symbolizes not only flowing, graceful movements, but the energy, power and and spirit of the divine.
