Crystals and Your Chakras: Svadhisthana

Sacrum or Second Chakra Svadhisthana means “sweetness.” This Chakra is located at the pelvic bowl, approximately two fingers width below the belly button. The color emitted from this Chakra is orange, the element of the center is Water, and the sacred geometry is round and the recumbent moon. The instinct that is associated with the Chakra is emotions and sexuality, the sexuality having to do with our femininity or masculinity. This Chakra is the seat of our inner selves as well.

Sacral/Second Svadhisthana Chakra

Balanced= Fluidity, pleasure, relaxation, creativity/express ourselves, both sexually and emotionally without losing our center or connectedness. This chakra helps you connect with our child like nature to nurture our playful self.

Imbalance= Stiffness, sexual problems, isolation, emotional instability or numbness, blocked creativity, fear of change, ruled by emotions, lack of boundaries.

Nutritional support= Liquids

Meditation= Visualization and breath work

I work with my Chakras every day, and one of my favorite ways to ensure I have a healthy sacral Chakra is to use Crystals and Stones to energize and balance it. I also use crystal essences in baths and/or in the spa to soak up the vibration of the stones to energize my chakras.

Here are some ideas for you to ponder. If you have a stone or a crystal, try meditating with it and place one of the following stones on your body in the location of your pelvic bowl and see what effect it has on your Chakra. Below are some of the stones I recommend to my clients. You might want to practice with these, as they are a huge support of this Chakra.
