Law of Attraction: Love and Happiness

The Law of Attraction (LOA) states that “every positive or negative event that happened in your life was attracted by you.” Another way of saying it would be “thoughts influence chance.” The Law of Attraction argues that "if you really want something and truly believe it's possible, you'll get it.”
This thought is at the heart of Paulo Coelho’s now-famous book The Alchemist. His famous lines have been repeated in several movies, books and seminars: “If you want something badly enough to make it your destiny, the entire universe will conspire to let you have it.”
According to supporters of the Law of Attraction, each one of us can exploit its seemingly magical powers if we are observant and have faith and focus only on what we want. We can consciously use this law to get what we want, including love and happiness—the two things for which humanity strives—by following a few simple steps. Remember that the actions and decisions we make in life need to support this belief we are adopting, so when following these steps be sure you are fully connecting your mind, body and spirit to integrate these steps fully and positively into your life.
Step 1: Meditate or sit quietly for 5 to 10 minutes. This will help relax your body and quiet your mind.
Step 2: This is perhaps the most important. Be very sure of what it is you want. Be clear in your intention, and make sure you are including as many details in describing the desired outcome of what you want. And once you have decided, don't doubt it. Remember that you're sending a request to the Universe which responds to thoughts because it is created by them. Also, you need to free yourself of any excess baggage from other relationships. Make sure there are no negative emotions like fear or self-doubt stopping you from attracting the man/woman of your dreams. To find love, the most important thing is that you love yourself. If you do not think highly of yourself, it means you think you are not worthy or loving; therefore, you will not be able to attract love for, law of attraction states that “like attracts like.”
Once you truly believe you are worthy and ready for love, it will happen very quickly. At this stage it is also very important you stay focused and positive. This will help keep your vibration level high and in alignment with that you desire to create.
Step 3: Act as if you have already met the person with whom you are going to spend the rest of your life. Do what you would if they were with you, feel the emotions of it, and try to let the happiness of being with someone you truly love seep into your very soul.
After you have asked for your desire and have experienced the feelings of fulfillment your desire is likely to invoke, it’s time to “forget it.” This means you must now let go and let the universe bring that which is unseen into the seen realm. Do not doubt whether it will happen or not: just like the universe picks up other signals, it will also pick up these signals of lack of belief. Do not spend time wondering when your desire will manifest and how it will manifest. Don’t fret; just sit back and allow the universe to bring your desire to you in the manner in which it sees fit. Do this for as long as it takes for your desire to manifest.
Once you have mastered the above, the universe will give you subtle hints that you must be open to receiving and interpreting. For example, you may feel a sudden urge to change jobs or go away on a vacation. Do not fight any sudden (and at times irrational) urges you may have. It’s the universe’s way of giving you a nudge in the right direction.
The Law of Attraction states that “it is essential you relax and release your desires to the universe.” Then and only then will you be open to receiving the relationship and love you truly deserve.
We must remember it takes more than mental intention to manifest the lives and dreams we desire. When it comes to manifesting relationships with other individuals, we need to ensure we are working on the most important relationship—the one we have with ourselves. There are many individuals available who are trained to work with people wanting to move forward in their lives, so use the resources available to search for the right person to support you.
