Why the Divine, a Greater Essence, Must Exist!

Is the belief in god, the Divine, or a greater essence merely a matter of faith, or is life in itself a proof of the existence of a supreme entity? The fact is if you examine life carefully, you will realize the entire fabric of our existence has the indelible mark of a greater consciousness that is found in every thread!

If you take off the glasses of cynicism and observe life with the innocence of a child, you will realize everything around you is nothing short of a miracle!

Our bodies are like engineering and biological masterpieces: every cell exists for a purpose, every organ has job, and every atom in our body works towards the common goal of keeping us alive.

Our world is nothing short of a miracle that has this being’s signature all over it! Everything on earth has beauty we humans can’t replicate in our hi-tech labs, and at the same time every little element of our world has a specific purpose to fulfill.

Trees, plants, flowers, mountains, rivers, valleys: they aren’t just decorative showpieces for our planet. Rather, they are all elements that contribute to life on our planet in their own special ways.

The facts that our planet is at just the right distance from the sun, that it rotates and revolves at a perfect speed, and that the moon exists at just the right distance to exert a gravitational pull on our oceans so they don’t stagnate have the word “divine miracle” written all over them!

It took our marvelous human brains ages to figure out how to recycle water. Give Earth huge salty oceans, let pristine snow form on mountain tops, let the snow die to give birth to sweet water rivers, let sun cause the water from the oceans to evaporate and form clouds, let the wind disperse the water to form rain and return sweet water back to Earth! Perfect, isn’t it?

The various emotions we feel are hard to explain in pure scientific terms. The depth of love can’t be measured; it’s hard to fathom the reasons behind feelings like kindness, empathy, and even bravery! If there was logic behind feelings, understanding the human brain would not have been so difficult.

Those who consider themselves to be atheists often dismiss all these observations as mere chance events, but the fact is there has to be a pattern behind these chance events” that seem to lead to common objective!

Finally, even chance can’t explain the nature of the universe. We still don’t have clear answers to how we began, but we do know that we did. The fact that there was a beginning point is clear, although it still is yet to be determined “who” allowed us to begin living. But we need to be grateful for the beginning!
