Attracting the Best

Law of Attraction
Everyone wants a perfect life: wealth, fame, health, love, happiness -- we want it all and more! The problem is more often than not we end up wasting our time and energy thinking about the lack of these very things in our life. If we have wealth we feel sorry for our state of health or relationships, and if we have fulfilling relationships we lament the other things we don’t have. Jealousy and comparison: these eternal human traits haunt us, and we often end up resenting fate for bestowing more on others.
The fact is we can have all that we desire; that is, we can make our fate smile at us, if only we try. How? you may ask. Simple: employ respect and follow the law of attraction.
What is the Law of Attraction?
The law of attraction is the basic principle by which the universe operates. It can be interpreted in several ways. One is in the form Karma; that is, you reap what you sow in the sense that every deed is accounted for. This is the new age philosophy of positive thinking! In simple terms it means we get what we focus on the most, whether by thoughts, deeds, or actions. For instance, if we constantly think of how unlucky we are we would invite more bad luck into our lives, just as if we refuse to share love little of it will find its way back into our lives.
The law of attraction has existed since the beginning of the universe. A blooming flower attracts a pretty butterfly, a happy person attracts cheerful company, and a confident person attracts the best opportunities! We’ve always heard that what goes around comes around, and what is that saying if not an expression of the law of attraction?
How to Use the Law of Attraction
To make the law of attraction work for you, focus on positive thoughts and actions. Think about what you want instead of what you don’t have! Focus on doing well instead of feeling scared about failure. Appreciate the good qualities in others instead of resenting them for their success. Take positive action to achieve your goals instead of procrastinating.
Adopting this positive way of life may seem easier said than done, and there is no denying the fact that positive thinking does require an immense amount of self-control. But the fact is that the results are well worth the effort.
Positive affirmations and visualization exercises, along with writing down positive thoughts in a journal, can make living by the principles of law attraction easier. Practicing positive affirmations regularly can help making positive thinking a habit. Visualization exercises are a simpler and more enjoyable way of thinking positive.
The law of attraction works for everyone; however, it is important to keep faith, have patience, and never forget the importance of taking positive action. For instance, success won’t come to you just because you are focusing on thoughts of being successful, but your positive thinking will help you become a more confident person. Then you will be able to attract the right people and opportunities and take advantage of the opportunities and connections you attract.
Until next time, embrace your inner wisdom.
Namaste,
Karen
