About Therapy in Transition

Please consider this website an extension of your own desires, dreams, and goals. Our intention is to provide you with a safe and secure space in which to explore, learn, and embrace the unlimited knowledge and wisdom you already hold within your essence.

Therapy in Transition is dedicated to meeting you exactly where you are today and providing the means to support and guide you into tomorrow. Here on our website you will have access to our expert panel, an online learning environment, discussion forums focusing on many topics, and much more.

A primary element of our philosophy is that we are teacher and student simultaneously as we go along our life’s journey; as such, understanding and identifying which role you are holding stronger in your vibration during each moment and experience is the key to being a life-long learner.

We began our journey here at Therapy in Transition in 2006 when Karen was supporting her best friend Tito through his relationship with bone cancer. The original concept was taking Tito’s name as an acronym to develop a title and the literal interpretation of Therapy in Transition – Karen and her dog in transition to a client’s home, supporting them through challenges using Reiki Therapy, Coaching and Pet Therapy benefits. It wasn’t long after Tito’s journey to the angelic realm that Karen realized the big picture and true intention behind Therapy in Transition. This vision is one which has a global reach and includes training, educational opportunities, advice, coaching, collaborating, and so much more. Tito, it seems, still has a great amount of work for Karen to be delving into and thus incorporating into the organization.

A goal of Therapy in Transition is to support its clients continuously by "adjusting the focus on their perspective lenses" so they may see opportunities where they didn't before.

Below you will find a timeline of the many milestones we have already reached. We know this list will continue to grow as we strive to the leader in personal growth, health and wellness, and the coaching industries. Our management style embraces an open door policy; this website is no different. If you have any questions, concerns, input, or feedback, we want to hear about it. If you have an inspirational story which you would like to share, we would be honored to read it and share it with our members and visitors with your permission.

Of course, as with any organization we have policies and procedures that allow us to treat and respond to clients fairly, effectively, and efficiently. • 2006 ~ February 14: Inspiration received to start Therapy in Transition; May 18: Tito joins the angelic realm; May 28: Aine is adopted; June 15: Launch initial website
• 2007 ~ February 8: Tucker is adopted; April 16: Aine completes Beginner Puppy Education; May 17: Tucker completes Beginner Puppy Education; July 1: Officially launched Therapy in Transition; July 16: Aine completes Intermediate Puppy Education, July 17: Tucker completes Intermediate Puppy Education; September 3: CranioSacral trainings commence; October 15: First new "official" client; November: Launch our first blog
• 2008 ~ April 9: Karen's son Caden is born; September 29: Tucker completes Advanced Puppy Education; November 3: Weekly Wisdom eNewsletter begins; November 10: Seraphim Sphere workshop series launches as newest available program; December 13: Professional Coaching Certification awarded
• 2009 ~ January 5: Launch redesigned website; March 4: Monthly Educational Seminars are kicked off; April: began journey to redesign website; August 9: launched online scheduling functionality
• 2010 ~ January 18: Launch newly designed website, online scheduling integrated into new website design, and Tito’s Learning Center (TLC) the online educational program
