Intentions

Over the last few weeks I've been revisiting the purpose of why I began facilitating the educational seminars. To date they have been successful, although not exactly what I had envisioned—or so I thought. The reason for hosting the seminars was to get my name out there, provide a service to the community, and have a way in which I was also able to give back.

But was I really being successful? Did I really hold the limited vision of only one or two people for attendance? What is my true intention behind these seminars? What fears might be holding me back from receiving full attendance?

These are only four of the many questions that have been going through my mind as I continue to delve into my higher purpose and what my journey is all about.

First things first, though. I changed my intention from "hosting no matter the number of participants" to "hosting for a minimum of five new individuals." I got clearer about what it is I wanted to provide. I love having repeat participants, but I wanted new people to experience these seminars.

Second, I reached out to other experts in different fields and asked if they would be interested in co-facilitating the events. My goal now is to broaden the educational spectrum I was offering. This also allowed me to learning something new every month myself.

And third, I began to cast my net of how to meet new people wider than ever before. I started a meetup.com group called “Tito’s Learning Community,” or TLC. This alone brought me five new individuals who have registered for the next seminar. And did I mention the 15 seats are almost full and the next seminar is still two weeks away? Additionally, I became a member of Biznik.com, which is another business networking site. Through this site I have already met six new associates in the alternative health industry.

I am grateful for the previous seminars and their levels of success; I learned so much, and I am really excited about what is coming next for the seminars. So stay tuned! We will be adding a second FREE educational seminar that will focus strictly on different business elements, and you’ll never guess who I am talking to this week and next about co-facilitating a few of them. This will allow the first Wednesday to maintain a focus of alternative health, healing, and out-of-the-ordinary topics.

For what "not-so-successful" events are you grateful today?

Until next time, embrace your inner wisdom.

Namaste,
Karen
