Clarity of Purpose

After this week's educational seminar I began thinking about what the real or true purpose is for hosting these seminars. Originally it was to provide an opportunity to introduce people to me and what it is I do.

But after reviewing the list of attendees I began to notice there were more than just a few repeat customers. I realized the seminars fill a need that the general public is searching for: a way to educate themselves informally but in an interactive way, in a place which they feel safe and comfortable; a seminar that's not so large that they become one of many faces sitting before a presenter like drones; an intimate learning experience.

So I have given myself a few new tasks: begin to create a greater buzz around the seminars; bring in other experts to pass along their knowledge in different areas; and build ongoing curriculum to be available through our website. And, dare I say it? I am beginning to add to my "visual" of where Therapy in Transition is going to have its co-operative educational building. This is just coming to me, so stayed tuned as I get even clearer on my purpose behind the educational element of Therapy in Transition.
